C131 - Urban Design Frameworks
Status update
The Planning Hearing for Baw Baw Planning Scheme Amendment C131bawb was conducted by video conference on Tuesday 16 June 2020.
The Panel Report has been received on 22 June.

The amendment will proceed now to the adoption stage, likely to be put on Council agenda for August this year.
What does the amendment do?
Council has prepared Amendment C131 to the Baw Baw Planning Scheme, proposing to introduce three new Design and Development Overlays to implement recommendations from:
- Longwarry Urban Design Framework - adopted 2019
- Trafalgar Urban Design Framework - adopted 2018
- Neerim South Urban Design Framework - adopted 2018
The overlays will guide built form of future development in the three township centres, based on the objectives and strategies specified in the relevant Urban Design Frameworks.
The affected areas are shown inside the dotted line on the following maps (for more detailed maps please refer to the attached amendment documentation below):
