Skate and BMX

There are six skateparks and three BMX tracks in Baw Baw Shire.

Skateparks

Drouin Skatepark

Located in Civic Park on Young Street, the Drouin Skatepark has challenges to suit both the advanced skater and beginner. There are public toilets, barbecue facilities and car parking next to the park. The park was built by SK8con.

Neerim South Skatepark

The Neerim South skatepark is located on Main Neerim Road between the primary and secondary schools. The park was designed and built by Concrete Skateparks and features a deep concrete bowl and a small street course with some ledges and banks. There are toilets, barbecue facilities and a children's playground nearby.

Rawson Skatepark

The Rawson Skatepark is located on Murie Street, Rawson. The dynamic new skatepark features varied skate park surfaces, ramps, rails and elements. There is also a three point line basketball court, picnic tables and grassed area. 

Trafalgar Skatepark

The Trafalgar Skatepark is situated close to the CBD just off Depot Lane. It is popular with skaters, bladers and bike-riders. The park is appropriate for novice and advanced skaters. The Trafalgar skatepark was designed and built by Concrete Skateparks.

Warragul Skatepark

Warragul Skatepark is rated by many skaters as the best skatepark in Victoria. It is relatively small by major park standards but an innovative design and standard of construction makes up for any lack in size. The skatepark is suitable for beginners and advanced skaters. The major features include a magnificent triple bowl and a challenging half vert wall. The Skatepark is in Burke Street park, close to the Warragul Leisure Centre and Burke Street tennis courts and a short walk from the CBD. It was designed and built by SK8con.

Yarragon Skatepark

Yarragon Skatepark is located at the Howard Park Playground, Campbell Street Yarragon. The skatepark is a half pipe, beginner to intermediate street/plaza style park. Next to the skatepark there is a large playground, grassed area, as well as picnic tables and chairs. 

BMX Tracks

Warragul BMX Track

Located just off Western Park Drive next to the netball and football grounds, the track is used by professional BMX riders, the Warragul Wyld Dogs BMX Club and local residents. The track was re-designed in 2011. Dirtz Tracks and Trail, the premier BMX Track Designers in Australia, donated the track design and former BMX World Junior Champion, Ashley McCutheon, provided professional advice on the shaping of the track.

Rawson BMX Track

Located at Dunstan Oval Reserve on the Tyers-Walhalla Road.

Trafalgar BMX Track

Located between Contingent St and Edward Crescent.
