Planning Fees and Levies
Statutory Planning fees are regulated by the Planning and Environment Act 1987 (the Act) and vary according to the classification of each application.

Development Contributions Plan Levy (DCP)
The Development Contributions Plan (DCP) Levy is a one-off payment that must be paid to Council before obtaining a Building Permit.
Developers must submit the Developer Contribution Levy Payment Advice Form with their payment at one of our Customer Service Centres.
After the levy has been paid, this form will be certified and returned for you to provide to your building surveyor as evidence that the levy has been paid.
NB - When paying for your DCP Levy, please ensure that you include a the Developer Contribution Levy Payment Advice Form(PDF, 583KB) along with a copy of your House Title.
Current Levy Amounts for New Dwellings
The current levy amounts for New Dwellings for 2019/20 are shown in the table above. This levy does not apply to replacement dwellings or house extensions.
