Proposed Road Discontinuance and Notice of Intention to sell land  – Volume 12492 Folio 115 

Pursuant to section 206 and Clause 3 of Schedule 10 of the Local Government Act 1989, Baw Baw Shire Council hereby gives notice of its intention to discontinue the section of Road on the eastern boundary adjoining 18 Mason Street, Warragul, as shown on the diagram below.

Further If discontinued Baw Baw Shire Council gives notice of its intention to sell the land to the registered proprietor (Housing Choices Australia Ltd ABN 23 385 731 870) of 18 Mason Street, Warragul by private treaty for the valuation figure of $ 75,000.00 plus GST pursuant to Sect 114 of the Local Government Act, 2020 subject to Council decision. 


Any person wishing to make a submission under Section 223 of 'The Act' must do so in writing by Monday the 11th of September, 2023.  All submissions will be considered in accordance with Section 223 of 'The Act'.

Submissions should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, and can be hand delivered to Council’s office at 33 Young Street, Drouin, emailed to or posted to PO Box 304, Warragul VIC 3820.

Any person who requests to be heard in support of their submission is entitled to be heard before Council (or a Committee established by Council for this purpose) or be represented by a person acting on their behalf, and will be notified of the time and date of the hearing.
