The West Gippsland Arts Centre is the region's major performing arts, cultural and community centre. It was recently refurbished with a major $13.4 million redevelopment project.

In 2024 Baw Baw Shire Council’s Arts and Culture Advisory Committee (ACAC) applied for Council money for an arts and culture grant program as a one-year trial. This program provides creatives funding to help them with their own creative projects, training or ideas.
