Baw Baw Shire Council has a range of publications that are available to the public.
The Annual Report of Operations is the primary means of advising the Baw Baw Shire Council community about Council's operations and performance during the past financial year. It contains highlights significant achievements, and provides financial summaries as well as detailed reports on Council's actions, initiatives and achievements measured against the Council Plan.
The 2022/23 budget is for the year 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023 and is prepared in accordance with the Local Government Act 1989 and Local Government (Planning and Reporting) Regulations.
The Council Plan represents a four-year road map for the Council and describes the key services and priorities that Council will focus on between 2021 and 2025.
Council prepares reports each quarter to inform the community of its progress towards the Council Plan.
The Capital Works Program is part of Council's Long Term Infrastructure Plan 2022-2032. It lists the capital works projects that will be carried out during the 2021/22 financial year, classified by expenditure type and funding source.
The annual Community Satisfaction Survey, a telephone survey of 400 adult Baw Baw residents, helps Council to better understand community needs in relation to its services.
