Council’s Annual Budget delivers support for the local arts, culture and events industry to draw more visitors to the region and create vibrant and connected communities for the Shire.
To meet the needs of the Shire’s rapidly growing population, Baw Baw Shire Council will invest $1.19 million into resources and new initiatives to enhance key services, including Statutory Planning, Enforcement, Infrastructure Planning and major Strategic Planning.
17 community-requested projects across seven townships will be funded in Council’s new annual budget as a direct result of community submissions made during the budget consultation process.

Better Health Program is for kids aged 7-13 years old and their families! It runs online for 10 weeks each school term and teaches them to make healthy lifestyle changes together. Eligible kids in Baw Baw shire can join for free in 2022 thanks to a partnership with Monash University.
