Farm Gate Sales
In general, primary produce sales (farm gate sales) are permitted in agricultural areas such as;
- Farming;
- Green wedge;
- Rural activity, and;
- Urban growth zones within a planning scheme.
There are several regulatory permits you might need from Council:
- A Planning Permit;
- An Environmental Health Registration, and/or;
- A Local Laws Permit.
Other approvals might need to be obtained from Council, for example, regarding parking and/or traffic restrictions.
