Adopting an animal can be very rewarding and there are many things to consider when deciding if an animal is suitable for you, including

  • The exercise needs of certain breed of dogs
  • How often you are home and how often you will leave the animal alone
  • Other animals and children in your home
  • Costs related to veterinary care

To express interest in an animal listed for adoption please complete the Animal Adoption Questionnaire.

Alternatively, download the printable version(DOCX, 70KB) and submit the completed questionnaire via email to a Customer Service Centre. 

COVID-19 restrictions: Residents are still able to access animal adoption viewing sessions, by appointment only. COVID-19 hygiene practices, including the wearing of face masks and social distancing must be adhered to at all times during appointments.

If you or any member of your household is unwell (fever, sore throat, runny nose, cough, shortness of breath), or has been in contact with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19, please contact us on 5624 2411 to reschedule your viewing appointment.

He is blossoming into a confident gentle boy who loves pats and spending time with you. His ideal owner would be a patient owner who will give him time to adjust to his new quiet household and ensure his coat doesn't get matted being a medium hair cat. He doesn't seem bothered by other feline pals.
