At Marist-Sion College, students experience an education where they are known and loved, grow as life-long learners and live as active citizens inspired by the principles of Catholic Social Teaching.

At Marist-Sion, we’re proud to be a vibrant Catholic learning community shaped by faith, hope and love. Our mission is simple but powerful: to support every student in growing spiritually, intellectually, emotionally and socially, so they can thrive in an ever-changing world.

Rooted in the Gospel and inspired by the Marist and Sion traditions, our College is deeply Catholic, yet open to dialogue and connection. We believe education grounded in faith has the power to transform lives. Through prayer, liturgy and service, we create meaningful moments that help students connect with something greater – with each other, with their purpose, and with God. Jesus is at the heart of all we do, guiding us in our commitment to justice, inclusion and compassion.

As Principal, I see leadership as a shared journey. I’m passionate about building a culture where collaboration, trust and purpose are central – where every voice matters and every learner is supported to grow. Our vision aligns with the priorities of the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited (DOSCEL), and we bring it to life through high expectations, strong relationships and a deep belief in the potential of every person.

We’re a school that values curiosity, creativity and continuous learning. Our staff are dedicated professionals who work together to deliver high-quality, evidence-informed teaching. Through initiatives like Teaching Sprints, Learning Walks and Professional Learning Communities, we’re always striving to improve. Our students benefit from personalised learning and a strong focus on wellbeing because we believe every learner should feel known, valued and challenged.

Diversity and belonging are at the heart of our community. We work closely with families, parishes and the wider community, and we actively listen to student and parent voices. The story of Marist-Sion is written by everyone who walks through our doors.

Through retreats, immersions and leadership opportunities, we encourage our students to explore their faith, discover their gifts and make a difference in the world.

Above all, student safety and wellbeing are non-negotiable. We’re committed to creating a culture where every young person feels safe, respected and empowered. Our approach is grounded in Gospel values and shaped by high standards, reflective practice and student voice. We believe every student can succeed – and we work hard to make that a reality by raising expectations and closing gaps.

Marist-Sion College is a place of possibility – where learning is sacred, relationships matter and hope is alive. It’s a privilege to lead this learning community and to walk alongside our students, staff and families in partnership.
