Enjoy stories, songs, craft and activities that help build a love of reading and support your child’s early literacy skills. This event is suited to families with children aged 3–6 years. Older and younger children and siblings are welcome to join in. Children must be actively supervised by their parent or carer while in the library

Enjoy nursery rhymes, songs and gentle movement activities that help support your baby’s early language development. This event is suited to babies aged 0–12 months. Older children and siblings are welcome to join in. Children must be actively supervised by their parent or carer while in the library. Registration is not required for this event.

Saturday, 1 August 2026, 9.30am - 12.30pm - Chess Club

Join other Chess players in friendly competition. Adults and young people 12 years and over. To help keep the session focused we ask that if patrons under 12 want to join they must have an adult with them and ideally be a serious-minded player.

Saturday, 8 August 2026, 10.30am - 11.30am - Lego Club

Lego Club is every second Saturday of the month! With a membership card earning prizes through visits, monthly themed challenges, and a welcoming atmosphere to forge friendships, it's a place where creativity meets camaraderie! This program is aimed at people 17 years and under.
