Join internationally recognised soil microbiologist, plant pathologist and mycologist Dr Mary Cole for an engaging look beneath our feet at the living biology that supports healthy plants, fertile soils and resilient landscapes. With more than 45 years’ experience in soil science, sustainable agriculture and plant health, Mary combines scientific expertise with practical, hands-on experience. She’ll explore how nurturing soil biology can improve plant health, build soil fertility, reduce reliance on synthetic chemicals and support more sustainable food production. Based in Garfield and a former academic at Monash University, Charles Sturt University and the University of Melbourne, Mary is the founder and Principal Scientist of Agpath. She is passionate about making soil science accessible and showing how healthier soils can transform our gardens, farms and food systems. ALL WELCOME
