Animals for Adoption

Adopting an animal can be very rewarding and there are many things to consider when deciding if an animal is suitable for you, including

• The exercise needs of certain breed of dogs
• How often you are home and how often you will leave the animal alone
• Other animals and children in your home
• Costs related to veterinary care

Hours of operation

By appointment only

• Monday to Friday - 9.30am to 4:30pm
• Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays - 10am - 3:00pm (appointments subject to availability)
• Closed Good Friday and Christmas Day.

Adoption Fees 

All animals adopted from Baw Baw Shire Council are:

• Desexed
• Microchipped
• Vaccinated
• Wormed
• Health checked
• Registered with Council
