Council is expanding the existing indoor stadium from two to four courts to better service the increased demand for indoor sports in Baw Baw Shire.
The project will feature construction of new indoor courts with enclosed links to existing building, new cafe and kitchen, storage spaces, assisted care change room, improved pedestrian and parking access links between new and existing facilities.
The Warragul Leisure Centre Stadium Expansion is being developed by Baw Baw Shire Council in partnership with the Victorian Government who are contributing $6 million towards the project. Council is contributing the remaining $4 million through its Capital Works Program.
The project is estimated to be complete mid 2023.
