Private gatherings and events, including weddings, may be held in Council-managed public parks at no cost.
These spaces remain open to the general public, and bookings for exclusive use or specific areas are not available. Availability cannot be guaranteed, and event organisers must be considerate of other park users at all times. You may also need to apply for a local laws permit depending on your activity.
Council may undertake park maintenance with limited notice. In addition, some parks host regular markets or approved public events.
