Baw Baw Shire Council (Council) hereby give notice under Section 114(2)(b) of the Local Government Act 2020 (Act) and Council’s Community Engagement Policy that it intends to sell the land located at 2 Montague Ave, Drouin (Vol 11172 Fol 706), known as Lot 2 on Plan of Subdivision PS621998C shown below, subject to Council approval (STCA).
The proposal is for Council to offer the land for sale by way of valuation, to the abutting property owner (of the Royal Hotel). To provide further car parking and access to the drive through bottle shop for this establishment.
The community is invited to comment on this proposal and must do by Wednesday 22 October 2025. All submissions will be considered in accordance with Council’s Community Engagement Policy.
Submissions should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer and can be:
- hand delivered to Council’s office at 33 Young Street, Drouin
- emailed to baw.baw@bawbawshire.vic.gov.au OR
- posted to PO Box 304, Warragul VIC 3820
Any person requesting to be heard in support of their written submission is entitled to be heard before Council (or a committee established by Council for this purpose) or be represented by a person acting on their behalf and will be notified of the time and date of the hearing.
