On display until 01 April 2024, 12:00 AM

To ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians, the section of Hamp Lane, Drouin, from Sinclair Street to the top of the Coles car park, has been closed due to damage caused by the significant amount of rainfall throughout 27 December 2023 - 4 January 2024

Council has been in close contact with neighbouring property and business owners following the closure and will remain in constant contact with them throughout the repair process.

The laneway will be closed for the foreseeable future while suitable repairs are arranged, including further assessments and the design and construction of a new road surface. It is expected this will take a minimum of eight weeks.

Barriers have been installed at the Sinclair Street entrance to Hamp Lane to prevent access and further damage and ensure community safety. The impacted area can be viewed below.
