Baw Baw's Family Friendly Expo

Baw Baw's Family Friendly Expo, formerly Paint Baw Baw REaD Early Years Expo; is designed to connect and support local businesses, organisations and services that cater for the needs of young children and their families. It is a great opportunity for the community to come together and learn more about the range of services available to them.

The Baw Baw's Family Friendly Expo is important for our community as it provides an opportunity for local businesses, organisations and services to come together and share, information, resources and advice to young families within our community. It also allows parents and carers to learn more about the range of services available to them and their children and make informed decisions about the best services for their family.

When: Saturday 21 March 2026
Time: 10.00am to 2.00pm
Where: West Gippsland Arts Centre, Warragul.

The event regularly attracts strong community interest, with approximately 800 attendees each year and a diverse range of exhibitors, including local businesses and service providers.

Stallholders will be provided with generous spaces suitable for interactive displays, performances, and demonstrations, along with access to family-friendly amenities including designated pram parking and a breastfeeding space.

The Expo is open to businesses, organisations and services that support children and families, including but are not limited to:

  • Playgroups
  • Physical Activity & Education groups
  • Creative Arts
  • Performing Arts
  • Education & Literacy
  • Paediatric Health Services
  • Any other group that provides early years-focused services
