On Monday 27 July 2026 at 2pm AEST, a test Critical Alert will be sent to all compatible mobile devices in Australia.The alert will override 'silent' and 'do not disturb' device settings. It will appear like a system notification on screens and make a loud siren sound for 10 seconds.

Wildlife Rescue Australia (WRA) non-profit, Australia wide specialist volunteer organisation dedicated to the rescue of native animals.
WRA operates an emergency 24-hour Call Centre staffed by home-based coordinators (PCs) trained to assist in all aspects of animal rescues.
The Centre is staffed by professional operators trained to facilitate the rescue of sick, injured or orphaned native animals.
