Council welcomes $250,000 of funding for the Noojee Heritage Precinct

Baw Baw Shire Council has welcomed $250,000 from the Foundation of Rural and Regional Renewal to fund the next phase of the Noojee Heritage Centre Precinct.

Letter drops commence as advocacy continues for intersection upgrades

Letters will begin delivery to 1600 households in the vicinity of the intersection between Weebar Road and Main South Road in Drouin this week as Baw Baw Shire Council rallies community to help advocate for funding to upgrade a number of critical intersections.

Funds secured for new safe pedestrian crossing at Bellbird Park

Notice of the Preparation of an Amendment to a Planning Scheme

The amendment implements the Baw Baw Economic Land Use Strategy (Charter Keck Cramer, 2023) by amending the Municipal Planning Strategy, making updates to local policy, rezoning land to support economic land uses, applying the Environmental Audit Overlay and other minor consequential changes to the Baw Baw Planning Scheme.
