Revegetation

As part of our commitment to maintain the natural environment, we provide a variety of resources that support the use of native plants for revegetation.

Indigenous Plants Revegetation Guide

The Indigenous Plants Revegetation Guide(PDF, 6MB) is filled with valuable information on indigenous plants well suited to the local area. Indigenous plants create an attractive landscape in both bush and garden settings as well as provide great habitat and food for native wildlife. The planting of indigenous plants is encouraged to maintain the biodiversity of the region.

The guide includes an extensive array of information regarding plant communities, methods of revegetation, seed type variations and planting zones. Apart from numerous photographs to assist identification, there is an informative table of planting zones and landscape locations where each plant will grow best.

Print versions of the guide are also available at all Customer Service Centres or by contacting the the Natural Environment Team.
