Amendment C108 - Warragul and Drouin Precinct Structure Plans
The Minister for Planning has approved Amendment C108 and it was gazetted on 30 October 2014.
Purpose of Amendment C108
The amendment implemented the Warragul and Drouin Precinct Structure Plans (PSP) and Development Contribution Plans (DCP) through the application of the Urban Growth Zone and Development Contribution Plans Overlay.
Long term development of land identified in the Warragul and Drouin PSPs will create approximately 20,000 new homes, 100 hectares of additional commercial and industrial space, and deliver $300 million worth of new infrastructure.
The amendment also updates the Environmental Significance Overlay (ESO) 4, for the Giant Gippsland Earthworm, to include new permit exemptions, and also proposes to delete the Heritage Overlay from East West Road, Warragul.
