Council is currently undertaking a review of its Economic Development and Visitor Economy Strategy 2022-2025.

Our goal is to create a regional city that has a thriving local and global economic impact, where families can live and grow and vibrant communities flourish.

The Economic Development and Visitor Economy Strategy 2022-2025 will provide a range of actions over the next three years for Baw Baw Shire Council to realise its economic vision.

We aim to assist in creating an environment where local businesses can grow and prosper. Although Council has a wide scope to undertake economic development, these actions need to be targeted. Effective and sustained economic development within Baw Baw Shire is an outcome that can only be achieved through collaboration.

We invited community feedback on the Draft Economic Development and Visitor Economy Strategy 2022-2025 to help shape the future of our economy and to hear your thoughts on economic development and the visitor economy within Baw Baw Shire.

Community consultation on the Draft Strategy closed at 5pm Monday 15 November 2021.
