Council has identified the playground at the Buln Buln Recreation Reserve for renewal through its 2021/22 Capital Works Program.  

The playground renewal program focuses on the renewal of playground equipment, ensuring that the community has a safe, fun place to play.

The total project budget for this playground renewal project is $65,000. 

This community consultation opportunity closed at 5pm Monday 21 February 2022.

What's involved in the consultation process?

Phase 1 – Initial consultation (now closed)

Phase one is all about getting the design of the playground renewal project right. We asked the community what features they would like to see incorporated. 

Phase 2 – Draft Design (early 2022)

Following phase one, we'll gather all the information, feedback and suggestions we receive and incorporate it into the new designs. 

Phase 3 – Construction Begins (mid 2022)

Once the plans are finalised, the playground renewal projects will begin on the refurbished playground.

What happens next?

Council Officers will consolidate comments and feedback and consider all submissions to assist in making further recommendations to Council.
