Adopted - Rollo Street Masterplan

The former Primary School site, located at 3-5 Rollo Street Yarragon, is approximately 0.9 hectares in size and has the potential to provide a significant public asset on the eastern side of Yarragon.

The site which was purchased by Baw Baw Shire Council for community use in 2020. The site is level, features numerous established trees, grassed areas and is fenced off from adjacent roads and laneways.

Phase one of this consultation process was undertaken by Council in January and February 2021, and the feedback received during phase one has resulted in the development of a draft masterplan for the site.

Council is now seeking feedback from the community on this draft masterplan before the plan is finalised, and adopted by Council for future implementation.

Phase 1 - Closed

Initial consultation (Closed 19 February 2021)

During phase one of this consultation Council collected information from the community to assist in the development of a master plan for 3-5 Rollo Street in Yarragon. Your feedback on what you believe this site should include was critical and was used to develop the draft master plan; that plan is now ready to be presented to the community and Council for final comments before it is adopted.

Phase 2 - Now closed

Follow up consultation and draft masterplan released for public comment

The draft masterplan has been prepared in collaboration with Blom Design, and was presented to the community for public comment. This consultation opportunity closed at 5pm Wednesday 22 September 2021.

Phase 3 - Future

Adoption of site Masterplan (late 2021)

With feedback received on the draft masterplan, the project will move the third and final phase, with the masterplan adopted by Council in late 2021.
