Savvy Seniors Safe Homes
Welcome to the Savvy Seniors Safer Homes page. This program has been funded by the Victorian Government’s Community Crime Prevention Program.
Baw Baw Shire Council, Victoria Police and Neighbourhood Watch, with the help of community members and organisations, are working together to better understand the experiences of Seniors who are living independently in our Shire.
This project has three key parts:
- First survey (open until 11.59 pm on 28 August 2020) - asks about attitudes towards home security and behaviours that relate to more secure homes.
- Media campaign
- Second survey (late 2020) - will help us understand if the project has made any differences to the way Seniors think and behave in relation to home security.
Take the survey by 28 August 2020
If you are a person aged over 65 years and living independently in Baw Baw Shire, we would love to hear from you through our survey.
You can complete the survey using the online form below. Alternatively, If you'd prefer to take the survey over the phone, please contact Council on 1300 229 229 by 28 August to book in a time.
