Provision of Information to Candidates

Baw Baw Shire Council will ensure that any information provided to a nominated candidate in the 2020 Baw Baw Shire council elections is made available to all nominated candidates during the election period (between 22 September and 24 October 2020). 

In providing information, Baw Baw Shire Council must ensure that public resources,  including staff resources, are not used in election campaigning or in a way that may improperly influence the result of an election, or improperly advantage any candidate standing in the election. This may result in some requests for information being denied.

Candidates can make requests using the Candidate Information Request form.
