The Capital Works Program is part of Council's Long Term Infrastructure Plan 2021-2031. It lists the capital works projects that will be carried out during the 2021/22 financial year, classified by expenditure type and funding source.
The Long Term Infrastructure Plan outlines the infrastructure programs and projects planned for delivery by Council over the next ten years. The overarching objective of the Long Term Long Term Infrastructure Plan is to provide the right infrastructure, at the right time, in the right places, and in a way that represents best value for money and sustainable use of resources.
Council continues its major investment in infrastructure totalling $38.7 million (plus any projects not finished from the current financial year) comprising of the following:

Changes have been made to the LTIP as a result of successful external grant funding applications and amendments made due to the budget submission process.
These changes include, but are not limited to the following projects:
$18.62 million will be invested in Council's recreation and open spaces, inlcuding:
$2.33 million has been allocated to Council's building projects.
This includes Council's major buildings and minor structures.
$1.79 million has been allocated for Council's drainage projects.
This includes underground drainage systems, open (surface) drains, cross road culverts (minor culverts) and storm water retention basins (wetlands, retardation basins and dams).
$990,000 towards the completion of the Roberts Road Bridge in Yarragon as well as three major culvert rehabilitations.
