Protected Disclosure

The Protected Disclosure Act 2012 has replaced the former Whistleblowers Protection Act 2001. This has created a new legislative framework for receiving protected disclosures.

Baw Baw Shire Council is committed to the aims and objectives of the new legislation, and is currently reviewing and updating the information available on this page. 

In the interim, any enquiry on Protected Disclosures may be made to the Protected Disclosure Coordinator, Angelo Saridis, Manager Governance and Compliance, Civic Place Warragul on (03) 5624 2411.

All correspondence, phone calls and emails from internal or external whistleblowers will be referred to the Protected Disclosure Coordinator.  

Mark all correspondence to the attention of The Protected Disclosure Coordinator – CONFIDENTIAL to be opened by addressee only.
