Artists, Galleries and Exhibitions

Baw Baw Shire is blessed with a rich and varied arts community. The region is home to dozens of talented artists and artisans of all genres as well as many delightful independent galleries exhibiting local work.

Gippsland Arts Festival 2013

The month of May will be jam-packed with exhibitions, events, music, performances, workshops, installations and more. The theme for this year’s festival is “space”

One aspect of the festival is 'The Great Gippsland Gatescape' event. Make your garden gate, farm gate, school gate, yard gate, or any gate into your blank canvas and make it stand out from the crowd with your creative ideas and ingenuity.

For more information about the festival view the brochure or contact Karen Whitaker-Taylor on 5624 2411, email karen.whitaker-taylor@bawbawshire.vic.gov.au or visit www.creativegippsland.com.au
