Immunisation Schedule 2017/2018

Council hosts both day and evening immunisation sessions for children at a range of venues each month, excluding public holidays. Bookings are not required.

Drouin

Drouin sessions are held at Baw Baw Shire Offices, 33 Young Street, Drouin on the following Mondays between 9.30am and 11.30am:

Trafalgar

Trafalgar sessions are held at the Trafalgar Community Centre, Princes Highway, Trafalgar on the following Tuesdays between 5.00pm and 6.30pm.

What to bring to a session

  • Child Health Record Book; this contains your child's computer number, which will enable quick access to your child’s details.
  • Medicare Card; for first visit only, if available.
  • Child’s comfort device or special toy, if needed.

Clients are advised that following all vaccinations, a waiting period of 15 minutes is recommended in order to observe for any possible reactions.

It is also suggested that if the child has been ill prior to immunisation, the client seek advice from the child's own doctor  about the appropriateness of them being vaccinated.

Your child’s immunisation records will be forwarded to the National Immunisation Register.
