Notice of Permit Application - Removal of Heritage Tree

Baw Baw Shire Council is notifying the community of planning application PLA0192/17 lodged for the removal of a heritage tree on the corner of Palmerston and Mason Streets in Warragul to make way for the delivery of a roundabout and ancillary works.

The application and supporting documents are currently available for public exhibition free of charge during office hours at the Drouin Customer Service Centre at 33 Young Street, or on council’s website until 5.00pm on Friday 29 September 2017.

Residents who may be affected by the granting of the permit may object or make other submissions to the Responsible Authority. Objections must include the reasons for the objection and include your name and address.

Please be aware that copies of any objections/submissions, including your name and address, may be made available to any person for the purpose of consideration as part of the public planning process.

Council will not make a decision on the application prior to the last day of the exhibition period as detailed above.

Residents who submit an objection will be notified of the final decision made by the Responsible Authority in due course.
