Residents have several options for the kerbside disposal of acceptable hard waste through Council's waste service.
Free at call on demand collection
Baw Baw Shire residents, whether owner or tenant, are eligible for one free annual at call on demand kerbside collection per financial year (conditions apply). The service allows for the kerbside collection of up to two cubic metres of acceptable hard waste from your nature strip. Alternatively, residents have the option to exchange their free kerbside collection for a “do it yourself” tip delivery at Council’s transfer stations.
To take advantage of this free offer, residents must book with WM Waste Management Services on 1800 969 278 by 30 June 2019.
Additional paid hard waste collection
If you have already used your free hard waste collection, residents can book an additional hard waste collection at a cost of $63 or $31 for pensioners. Bookings for
this additional service are now open and will close on 22 March 2019.
The collection will take place between 1 and 12 April 2019.
Residents can place up to two cubic metres (one trailer load) of hard waste on their nature strip by Sunday evening 31 March. If you miss this date, additional costs may be incurred.
Residents can book and pay for a collection up to 22 March at our Customer Service Centres in Warragul and Drouin or by telephoning Council on 5624 2411.
