Keeping Chickens at a Residential Property

Residents can keep up to six chickens on a residential property with a permit.
A permit for chickens is free but includes some conditions (see the back of the application form).

Removal of Reptiles

The Council does not supply a service for the removal of reptiles, including snakes.

If you come across injured, rescued or orphaned wildlife, please contact one of the following wildlife organisations who will care for the animal:
