Apply Now for Community Development Grants

Published on 12 April 2018

Applications are now open for Council’s annual Community Development Grants program which will share up to $300,000 in funding to support community strengthening initiatives.

The program gives financial support to community groups, non-profit organisations, volunteers and individuals to lead projects that reflect the community’s priorities and vision.

Mayor of Baw Baw Shire Councillor Joe Gauci is encouraging community groups to seek funds for projects that will contribute to the Shire’s social, environmental and economic development.

“These grants help empower our community to get the jobs done that matter to them”, said the Mayor.

“We’re so proud to be able to work closely with our community and contribute towards a connected, skilled, engaged and inclusive community.

“Last year we received a huge volume of applications which have resulted in some fantastic initiatives and projects being rolled out across our community.”
