An exhibition of work by two Baw Baw Artists is opening at the Station Gallery, Yarragon from 2 - 27 August 2017. The opening will be held on Saturday 5th August at 2pm with artists talks at 3pm.

Russell Lilford and Sue Acheson have collaborated for the past two years on large projects with the #twomanywords teams, but have never exhibited their personal work together - until now.

The energy in their work has an unusual synergy, complementing yet contrasting at the same time, and in the contained space of a gallery gives a burst of energy that excites and inspires.

With a mix of 3D and 2D artworks, the exhibition will showcase the diversity of their skills, and the artists will be holding a floor talk at 3pm on opening day to explain more about their individual practices.

For more information on the artists go to https://www.facebook.com/russell.lilford and www.sueacheson.com.au

The Gallery is open from Wednesday to Sunday 10.30am to 4pm.

Sue Acheson’s work will also be shown at Manningham Gallery, Melbourne as part of the Australian Ceramics Award from 16 August to 23 September. Sue’s studio will be open on 19 & 20 August as part of the Australian Ceramics Association Open Studios Event.
