National Tree Day: Planting in Brooker Park, Warragul

Baw Baw Shire Council is hosting a National Tree Day activity in Brooker Park, Warragul. This is an important location as it runs along Hazel Creek and provides habitat for several threatened species.

We are aiming to revegetate the area to improve habitat, water quality and to increase biodiversity. This planting will add to the revegetation works undertaken over the past two years.

This project is an exciting opportunity to take part in a conservation project and to affect positive change in your community.

The site is near the St Pauls Anglican Grammar School Senior Gym at 150 Bowen Street, Warragul.

BBQ and tools and equipment for planting will be provided.

Please bring your own gloves.

RSVP to Karla Rutherford via the online form, by calling 5624 2531 or via email.
