Rural Education Program

Rebates are offered to rural landowners who complete accredited rural land management courses such as Whole Farm Planning and ChemCert

Environment Groups within Baw Baw

Active environment groups with the shire include Baw Baw Sustainability Network, Permaculture, Transition Baw Baw, Community Garden Network, West Gippsland Seedbank, Latrobe Valley Field Naturalists.

Rural Tree Grants

The Shire provide a Rural Tree Grant for purchase of local native plants used for revegetation, erosion prevention, windbreaks, protection of water ways and wet areas.
