Job Vacancy Reports
As a method of identifying overall job and employment trends within the Baw Baw Shire region, Council has commissioned an on-going count of job advertisements listed in the Warragul & Drouin Gazette.
In addition to monthly counts and update reports, an initial research programme was undertaken to develop comparative statistics dating back to 2001.
The data collected is sorted by employment categories and months. Annual Reports are released in April each year for the preceding calendar year (or on receipt of December Quarter employment statistics).
NOTE: It is estimated that only approximately 25% of actual jobs are advertised in the print media (source: Industry sources and council data).
