Planning Fees and Levies

Statutory Planning fees are regulated by the Planning & Environment Act 1987 and vary according to the classification of each application.  See the following links for the latest schedule of fees.  Baw Baw Shire Council can provide hard copies of these documents.  Please call Council's Statutory Planning Department on 5624 2411 to have the relevant document sent to you.

 

 

Development Contributions Plan Levy (DCP)

The DCP was introduced on 22 May 2008 for new dwellings, residential subdivisions, industrial and business developments to assist Council with the cost of providing roads, drainage, open space and community infrastructure required to accommodate the needs of a growing population.

The Shire is broken into 62 Charge Areas and the amount payable varies according to the Charge Area in which the development or subdivision is located.
