Building

Most property owners will at some stage conduct renovations to a building. These projects can be as equally complex as a new building or building addition and in many cases building permits and the use of Registered Building Practitioners is a necessity. It is recommended that these projects be well planned and executed.

Building Permits

Nearly anything that is built requires a building permit. Building permits enforce regulations that are designed to protect your building and, more importantly, those who occupy them.

Bushfire Regulations

Information about constructing in bushfire prone areas.

Crossovers, Road Reserves and Asset Protection

Information on obtaining an Asset Protection permit and working within the road reserve to install a driveway, connect water or other assets.

Report and Consent

Report and Consent from Council to build outside of regulations.

Swimming Pools and Spas

Regulations regarding all swimming pools and spas in private residences, hotels and motels.

Requests For Information

Information and application forms for Building Regulations, Storm Water Discharge and Building Records.

Asbestos

Find information about Asbestos and Asbestos safety.

Half Cost Fencing

Find information about fences where the cost is shared between residents and/or council.
