Disability Advisory Committee
The Disability Advisory Committee provides strategic advice to Council on access and inclusion of people with a disability.
Council is seeking new representatives to join the Disability Advisory Committee. We are interested in receiving applications from people with the relevant skills and experience in representing disability issues as well as experiences in the disability sector. The perspectives and experiences of people with disabilities are particularly valued.
This is an official Council committee with a membership of local community members, Council officers and Councillors. The Disability Advisory Committee’s purpose is to provide Council with strategic advice on disability-related issues.
